Start with Abundance

John 10:10 – “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

It’s easy to start the week feeling drained, weighed down by tasks, deadlines, and expectations. Scarcity whispers: “There isn’t enough time… there aren’t enough resources… you can’t do it all.” But what if we chose a different lens—one that sees abundance everywhere?

Reflection:

Abundance isn’t about having more. It’s about recognizing what already exists and trusting that provision is enough. When we approach our work from a place of fullness, our energy, attention, and creativity flow outward. We become generous with our time, patient in conversation, and joyful in service.

Consider how scarcity impacts your work: it can make you reactive, anxious, and transactional. Abundance transforms you—it makes your presence, your words, and your actions more meaningful.

Each interaction becomes an opportunity to offer care, encouragement, and understanding.

Practical Applications:

Begin each morning listing three ways you have been blessed. Let that gratitude shape your decisions.

Choose one interaction today to serve from fullness—listen more deeply, encourage sincerely, or offer support without expectation.

At the end of the day, journal: Where did abundance guide my actions? Where did fear limit me?

Challenge:

Identify one person you can intentionally serve from a place of abundance this week. Observe what changes, for you and for them, when your service flows from fullness.
